HOW MANY LESSONS WILL I HAVE?

Year 7, 8 and 9 – 2 lessons per fortnight

WHAT TOPICS WILL I LEARN?
- Year 7 – Digital Citizenship, Endangered Animals, Introduction to Python, Gnomewatch, Animation, Modelling
- Year 8 – Digital Citizenship, Hotshots Talent Agency, Dragons Den, Festival Modelling, Magazine Project, DTP Magazine Task Festival – Festival Modelling Task
- Year 9 – Digital Citizenship, Programming in Python, The Apprentice, Splash Theme Park Animation, Graphics Challenge, The Shop Modelling
WHAT SKILLS WILL I Learn?
You will learn a range of digital skills in ICT, which include staying safe online and coding, There will be a focus with each topic on improving your digital skills and using your creative talents to create amazing digital products that will appeal to a target audience.
WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL I NEED?
You will need to bring basic equipment to all lessons, including pen, pencil and ruler. All digital equipment will be provided in the ICT department.

- Year 11 – How Business operates in a dynamic and competitive environment
WHAT SKILLS WILL I Learn?
You will analyse a local business and see how they operate and why. You will gain an understanding of the important role played by these business organisations in the economy of Wales and the rest of the UK.

You will need to bring basic equipment to all lessons, including pen, pencil and ruler.
