On 23rd August 2019, nearly 200 Connahs Quay High School year 11 learners collected their GCSE results.
The school celebrated after a number of its students received outstanding results.
Rhiannon Lewis, Georgia James and Jess Hill all achieved a mix of A*, A and B grades.
Brandon Dowell was top performing boy at the school with 3A*, 3A and 3B.
While Mia Williams is off to LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) in September after achieving A* and A.
Assistant headteacher Susan Woosey said: “It has been a busy morning here but there have been so many happy faces.
“It is lovely to see all the hard work of this year group come to fruition and pay off with excellent grades. The pupils and staff are all very pleased with today’s results and I would like to wish them all the best for the future on behalf of the team at Connah’s Quay High School.”
